During the story of the first game, we learn that Sora is chosen by the Kingdom Key Keyblade. Riku even takes the Keyblade away from Sora. Why did Sora obtain the Keyblade? It turns out that Riku was chosen many years before he was born in a ceremony performed by Terra in Birth By Sleep.
Unfortunately, his heart was influenced and eventually overtaken by darkness. This made him unable, in a sense, to use the Keyblade until he figured out he could wield it, and the next one in line was Sora. Sora had to learn what being worthy meant, and that the Keyblade did in fact choose him for a reason. This story follows Riku and Sora through their trial to become Keyblade Masters.

Peter Parker is just a kid and having to balance so many aspects of his life can be quite daunting. The key goal that Steve Ditko and Stan Lee wanted to achieve was creating a character who was young and relatable; going through everyday problems like most teenagers would. As a nerd whose life was drastically changed after getting bit by a radioactive spider, Peter was gifted with amazing abilities, but what was his purpose at this point?
It was to put others before himself, to be selfless, and to work tirelessly to protect the ones he loves. Did the spider choose him? He may not be the most powerful hero in the Marvel Universe but he has one of the biggest hearts of all. People tend to look at the super powers aspect, but the alter ego is what matters most. Throughout her life, Wonder Woman had the blessings of supreme gods and great Amazon Warriors with her.
Perhaps this was the best environment for a chosen one to serve for humanity. Far away from the corrupted world of mankind…. Every event in her life emphasizes that she was meant to be the chosen-one. Upon the creation of the Paradise Island, Greek Goddesses saved the souls of women who have been murdered by men. When Hippolyta molded a clay, Zeus gave that clay a life, a soul. The given soul to the clay was held back during the creation of the island. That woman was also carrying a baby when she passed away. The soul of unborn baby has been saved and protected by the Greek Goddesses.
Zeus bonded the soul to the clay which have been molded by Hippolyta. The first child born on the Paradise Island, Diana, was the soul the unborn daughter of Hippolyta. In fact, prior to her birth Diana was the chosen one. She was the only baby who had another chance to born. Destiny, could have been rescued her if she was meant to be the chosen one, but she did not have only the destiny by her side and an extra-dimensional race, Greek Gods were in favor of her.
Six Gods chose a soul to bring peace to mankind. The most important motive of these gods while making her a great warrior was eager to defeat Ares. She was the only Amazonian who had the power to defeat a great God like Ares. Before embarking on her duty of defeating the War God, Diana was given the Sandals of Hermes which allows her to travel instantly.
The study of these passages necessarily demands supreme human scholarship to interpret— it needs years of intense application. A great deal has still to be worked out. But enough has been discovered to justify his claim; the most sceptical intelligence is compelled to admit its truth. This matter is best studied under the Master Therion, whose years of arduous research have led him to enlightenment.
On the other hand, the language of most of the Book is admirably simple, clear and vigorous. No one can read it without being stricken in the very core of his being. The more than human POWER of Aiwass is shewn by the influence of his Master, and of the Book, upon actual events: and history fully supports the claim made by him. These facts are appreciable by everyone; but are better understood with the help of the Master Therion. The full detailed account of the events leading up to the dictation of this Book, with facsimile reproduction of the Manuscript and an essay by the Master Therion, is published in The Equinox of the Gods.
The elements are Nuit— Space— that is, the total of possibilities of every kind— and Hadit, any point which has experience of these possibilities. This idea is for literary convenience symbolized by the Egyptian Goddess Nuit, a woman bending over like the Arch of the Night Sky. Hadit is symbolized as a Winged Globe at the heart of Nuit. Every event is a uniting of some one monad with one of the experiences possible to it. Each one of us has thus an universe of his own, but it is the same universe for each one as soon as it includes all possible experience.
This implies the extension of consciousness to include all other consciousness. In our present stage, the object that you see is never the same as the one that I see; we infer that it is the same because your experience tallies with mine on so many points that the actual differences of our observation are negligible. For instance, if a friend is walking between us, you see only his left side, I his right; but we agree that it is the same man, although we may differ not only as to what we may see of his body but as to what we know of his qualities. This conviction of identity grows stronger as we see him more often and get to know him better.
Yet all the time neither of us can know anything of him at all beyond the total impression made on our respective minds. The above is an extremely crude attempt to explain a system which reconciles all existing schools of philosophy. This means that each of us stars is to move on our true orbit, as marked out by the nature of our position, the law of our growth, the impulse of our past experiences.
All events are equally lawful— and every one necessary, in the long run— for all of us, in theory; but in practice, only one act is lawful for each one of us at any given moment. Therefore Duty consists in determining to experience the right event from one moment of consciousness to another. The technical methods of achieving this are to be studied in Magick, or acquired by personal instruction from the Master Therion and his appointed assistants. The third chapter of the Book is difficult to understand, and may be very repugnant to many people born before the date of the book April, It tells us the characteristics of the Period on which we are now entered.
Superficially, they appear appalling. We see some of them already with terrifying clarity. But fear not! One of these is in charge of the destinies of this planet for periods of 2, years. Next, beginning B. Now, Horus, the child, in which we come to perceive events as a continual growth partaking in its elements of both these methods, and not to be overcome by circumstance.
This present period involves the recognition of the individual as the unit of society. We realize ourselves as explained in the first paragraphs of this essay. Every event, including death, is only one more accretion to our experience, freely willed by ourselves from the beginning and therefore also predestined. He is symbolized as a Hawk-Headed God enthroned.
He rules the present period of 2, years, beginning in Everywhere his government is taking root. Observe for yourselves the decay of the sense of sin, the growth of innocence and irresponsibility, the strange modifications of the reproductive instinct with a tendency to become bisexual or epicene, the childlike confidence in progress combined with nightmare fear of catastrophe, against which we are yet half unwilling to take precautions.
Consider the outcrop of dictatorships, only possible when moral growth is in its earliest stages, and the prevalence of infantile cults like Communism, Fascism, Pacifism, Health Crazes, Occultism in nearly all its forms, religions sentimentalised to the point of practical extinction. Consider the popularity of the cinema, the wireless, the football pools and guessing competitions, all devices for soothing fractious infants, no seed of purpose in them.
Consider sport, the babyish enthusiasms and rages which it excites, whole nations disturbed by disputes between boys. Consider war, the atrocities which occur daily and leave us unmoved and hardly worried. How this new Aeon of Horus will develop, how the Child will grow up, these are for us to determine, growing up ourselves in the way of the Law of Thelema under the enlightened guidance of the Master Therion. Ferocious Fascism, cackling Communism, equally frauds, cavort crazily all over the globe. Evolution makes its changes by anti-Socialistic ways. Above us today hangs a danger never yet paralleled in history.
We suppress the individual in more and more ways. We think in terms of the herd. War no longer kills soldiers; it kills all indiscriminately. Every new measure of the most democratic and autocratic govenments is Communistic in essence. It is always restriction. We are all treated as imbecile children. Fascism is like Communism, and dishonest into the bargain.
The dictators suppress all art, literature, theatre, music, news, that does not meet their requirements; yet the world only moves by the light of genius. The herd will be destroyed in mass. The establishment of the Law of Thelema is the only way to preserve individual liberty and to assure the future of the race. All men and women are invited to cooperate with the Master Therion in this, the Great Work. Help me, o warrior lord of Thebes, in my unveiling before the Children of men!

Presumably purchasing or inheriting her wand at the age of eleven, Sybill attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry , which she referred to as her home. Being Sorted into Ravenclaw by at the latest, she may have been a member of the Slug Club because of her ancestry. In her third year , Sybill would have taken Divination as one of her elective subjects in her third year , and achieved high grades in her O. L and N. She married early, but it ended in unforeseen rupture due to Sybill's refusal to adopt the surname Higglebottom.
They had no children. After graduating, Sybill drifted through the wizarding world , trying to gain employment based on her ancestry but scorning those who did not offer what she felt was the rightful treatment of a true Seer. Sybill making the prophecy at the Hog's Head. Dumbledore , who was not planning on continuing divination at Hogwarts, agreed to give her a chance because of her ancestry. It so happened that the Death Eater Severus Snape was eavesdropping at the door, which placed Trelawney in great danger from Voldemort.
Hoping to protect Sybill, Dumbledore hired her; despite this fact, she did not join the faculty until Professor Trelawney teaching Divination at Hogwarts. As a professor, Trelawney taught in the Divination Classroom on the seventh floor of the North Tower. Sybill made many predictions over her time at Hogwarts.
Minerva McGonagall once claimed that she predicted the death of one of her students every year, none of whom had yet died. Knowing her talents pale in comparison to her colleagues, Professor Trelawney very rarely attended meals in the Great Hall with the rest of the school, preferring to remain in her tower. She appeared to be acquainted with a certain colleague of hers, but frequently clashed with Professor McGonagall.
Trelawney attended the Start-of-Term Feast in At some point in the — school year , Professor Trelawney locked her classroom door, with a notice saying " Do not disturb, crystal gazing ". Harry Potter , who had just joined the school, attempted to open it without realising that it was locked. During the — school year , Professor Trelawney gained Harry Potter as a student, who had only chosen to take Divination because his friend, Ronald Weasley , had.
During a class on tea leaves, Trelawney saw the Grim — a well-known omen of death — in Harry Potter's cup. This visibly disturbed the class, who went rather shaken to Transfiguration with Professor McGonagall. Trelawney inadvertently insulting Hermione Granger during one of her lessons. After Neville broke two teacups, Lavender's rabbit Binky was killed, and Hermione Granger, after being greatly insulted by Professor Trelawney, stormed out of a lesson, Lavender and Parvati Patil became great supporters of Trelawney.
An impatient McGonagall stated that they would risk it. Two hours later, both Harry and Ron bolted up from their seats, causing Trelawney to shrilly ask which one of them got up first. McGonagall dryly joked that unless there was a mad axe-man waiting in the Entrance Hall to slaughter the first person he saw, it made little difference. However, Ron was accompanied by Scabbers at the time, who unbeknownst to all was actually Peter Pettigrew , thus meaning that thirteen dined at the table.
As Dumbledore stood to welcome Trelawney, he was the first to rise from a table of thirteen, and also the first to die, meaning that Trelawney predicted the death of Dumbledore years before the event occurred. Trelawney making her second prophecy with Harry Potter as a witness. While conducting the third year exams with the Gryffindors , Professor Trelawney, while invigilating Harry Potter, entered a trance and made a prediction that the Voldemort 's servant would be freed, returning to him that night.

When she returned to normal seconds later, she could not remember anything happening. Harry later told this to Professor Dumbledore , who jokingly said that he should offer her a pay raise for making a total of two real prophecies. Professor Trelawney teaching Harry Potter and his class. The following year, the Triwizard Tournament took place at Hogwarts and Harry Potter was one of the champions. Trelawney continued to annoy him with increased predictions of his death. She guessed that Harry had lost his parents because he was born during midwinter, heralding a tragic life.
However, Harry told her he was born in July. Unbeknownst to Harry, who was the final horcrux, Voldemort was born in December. Once, Rita Skeeter , in the form of a beetle, eavesdropped upon Harry during Trelawney's lesson when Harry had a crisis caused by his scar. Trelawney was very excited and pressed Harry to tell her what had happened, saying that she had experience in these matters and that the clairvoyant vibrations of her room could allow him to see further than he had ever seen before. Unfortunately for Trelawney, Harry refused.
At the end of the year, Trelawney learned about the death of Cedric Diggory and the return of Voldemort. The Second Wizarding War had begun. Early on in the — school year , Dolores Umbridge was made Hogwarts High Inquisitor by Ministry edict, and appeared in Trelawney's classroom with a clipboard, making notes.
Trelawney saw this as an intrusion, and was most upset and angered by it. Umbridge asked Trelawney to justify her teaching techniques and required a prediction from her. Trelawney at first was indignant, and haughtily claimed that the Inner Eye did not See upon command. Unimpressed, Umbridge made to leave. Panicked, Trelawney attempted to persuade Umbridge that she could suddenly see great danger in her future, but the High Inquisitor remained unmoved -- whether Trelawney had actually seen Umbridge in danger in the forest at the end of the year or whether she just made it up based on the Defence Against the Dark Arts curse is unknown.
Umbridge later put Professor Trelawney on probation , which greatly distressed and insulted her. She became uncharacteristically brisk and started drinking a large amount of cooking sherry , which she hid in the Room of Requirement. Umbridge would stalk Trelawney during every one of her lectures, interrupting her increasingly hysterical talks with difficult questions regarding Heptomology and Ornithomancy , insisting that Sybill predict students' answers before they gave it to her, and demanding she demonstrate her skills at the crystal ball , tea leaves and rune stone in turn.
Umbridge states that she saw no improvement in Trelawney's performance to the point that she could not predict tomorrow's weather. Umbridge presenting Trelawney's Order of Dismissal. Eventually, Trelawney was dismissed by Umbridge, who almost threw her bodily from the castle, gleefully relishing the fact that Trelawney was in paroxysms of grief over her dismissal.
Before she could be chased off the premises, Dumbledore came to her aid and insisted that she stay at Hogwarts, as Umbridge had no authority to banish her from the school grounds. This was partially to protect Trelawney from Voldemort who would target her for making the prediction concerning Harry and himself. Trelawney was replaced by the centaur Firenze , appointed by Dumbledore, much to Umbridge's shock and fury; she hated both the fact that Firenze was what she called a "half-breed" and that Dumbledore appointed someone without consulting her despite Educational Decree Number Twenty-Two does not let her deny such an action.
She was finally reinstated to her teaching position after Umbridge was suspended. This meant that, since Dumbledore could not ask him to return to the herd that tried to kill him, she would have to share classes with Professor Firenze, a fact she was not pleased with. That year, Trelawney and Firenze divided the students between them by year. Trelawney taught the fifth and sixth years.
She continued to drink due to her humiliation of working with a "horse". She hid her cooking sherry in the Room of Requirement. At Horace Slughorn 's Christmas party, Trelawney was morosely drunk. She spent the night listening to Luna Lovegood 's speeches on the "Rotfang Conspiracy" and that Rufus Scrimgeour was a vampire. She seemed rather interested. Their meeting was cut short when Harry Potter arrived for one of his private lessons with the Headmaster. Later, Trelawney attempted to enter the Room of Requirement, but was thrown out by Draco Malfoy , who apparently used Peruvian Instant Darkness Powder to conceal his identity.
Harry Potter found her sprawled on the floor and helped her up. He encouraged her to accompany him to Dumbledore's office to tell the Headmaster what had happened to her. On the way, she started talking about the day she was hired. When Trelawney mentioned that the eavesdropper had been Severus Snape , Harry left her standing in the corridor and ran off to confront Dumbledore with this information.
She stated that she missed having Harry in her classes, and though he was never much of a Seer, he was a "wonderful Object. During the — school year, Voldemort had taken over Hogwarts and made Snape headmaster.
